If the underside of your bed/chair is lined with fabric rather than vinyl, please contact customerservice@purifas.com before attempting to attach the sticky strips.

Our sticky strips work best when attached to the underside of the bed/chair. At a minimum, our sticky strips should be attached to the underside of both the head and the foot of the bed/chair.

Attaching the strips is simple but there are a few key steps you need to follow to ensure your sticky strips work effectively and last a long time.
Step 1

Place your BodyShield on the bed/chair, ensuring the entire bed/chair is covered and, if relevant, the face holes are aligned.

Step 2

To ensure the BodyShield will not move during treatment, determine the best attachment points for our sticky strips, e.g., you may choose to have a strip at both the head and foot of the bed/chair, and a strip (or strips) at either side.

Step 3

Clean the chosen attachment points and wait for them to completely dry.

Step 4

While waiting for the cleaned attachment points to dry, measure the strips against them and, if necessary, cut to size.

Step 5

When you’re ready to attach the strips to your bed/chair, remove the blue backing paper to expose the sticky side of each strip.

Step 6

Attach the sticky side of each strip to the chosen attachment points.

Step 7

Once attached, rub your fingertips firmly back and forth along each strip to generate heat — this will activate the glue on the sticky side and ensure optimum adhesion.

How to Secure Our BodyShield to the Strips

  1. Place your BodyShield on the bed/chair ensuring the entire bed/chair is covered and, if relevant, the face holes are aligned.
  2. Grab one short edge and gently press it on to the sticky strip(s) at one end of the bed/chair.
  3. Run your fingertips over the edge of the BodyShield to ensure it’s fully attached to the strips.
  4. Grab the opposite short edge of the BodyShield, pull slightly until you get a bit of tension and gently press it on to the strip(s) at that end of the bed/chair.
  5. Run your fingertips over the edge of the BodyShield to ensure it’s fully attached to the strip.
  6. Repeat this process if you have also chosen to also have sticky strips down each side of your bed/chair.
